Every time I walk in the general direction of the kitchen (which also happens to be the direction of the front door, bathroom, and our bedroom- so basically every time I get up from my desk) Edgar wiggles his nose up in the air like this and lets out a few squeaks (just in case I didn't know he was there ;)).

Edgar and I have had a little bit of cabin fever lately :) here are some videos of us (me behind the camera) passing the time ;) If you hear drilling in the background that's just a small portion of what we listen to every day these days (they are demolishing the parking garage under our building). It's quite annoying after listening to it 9 hours a day (for the last 3 weeks).
Edgar's idea of exercise
Me taunting Edgar with a piece of my apple...how mean! Edgar likes reminders of Fall just as much as I do.
Edgar also endured his second fire drill yesterday (his first one in this building). It was quite traumatic. When I started to smell smoke I thought I should bring him with me, so I put him in his carrier, and then, of course, the alarm stopped! Thank goodness Edgar and I didn't have to huff and puff all the way down 10 flights of stairs ;).
On another note, Josh flew for the first time in the evening last night. He landed 5 times (twice without any lights on- eek!) Today he flies to New Jersey for a "cross country" with his instructor. Within the next week he should be finishing his flight training for now. He will finish his traning with a final cross country flight independently.
As for me, I am chugging along working on my research and other classwork. It is so exciting that I have a list of the assignments I have left to do- and once that list is completed- I'm done! Kind of scary at the same time, I suppose :). I have also had a few phone interviews (mostly with skilled nursing facilities in Pensacola).
Well, that's all for now! Love to all :)
