This weekend we had a chance to meet our friends Luke and Erika (Luke went to the Naval Academy with Josh and they were on the Rifle team together) in Tallahassee! We haven't seen them since their wedding in September! More recently, they moved from California to Northwest Florida and we have been trying to plan a trip to visit each other. While life is busy for both couples, we decided a day trip at a halfway marker was better than not seeing one another at all!
Luke and Erika also recently rescued a pup, so we decided to make it a dog-friendly day! We met up at Lake Ella for some iced coffee and a stroll and then found a nearby Mexican restaurant with outdoor seating for the puppies. Although it has been awhile since we've spent time with such great friends, we were able to pick up right where we left off!

"Belle" and Luke (aptly named as we think she is just beautiful!)

Teddy sure needs his hairs cut!

These "Muscovy" ducks were all over the park- they are very strange as they "pant" like dogs and wag their tails- weird....

We hope to plan a longer trip soon, but until then, we are so happy to have had an opportunity to visit with such great company :)
In other news, Today is Teddy's birthday! Time sure flies! We never imagined a furry little animal could bring us such joy.

Here's a picture of Teddy the day we brought him home when he was 11 weeks old- it's a tough life being a pampered pooch!

Teddy really just seems like a bigger version on this photo! The same personality we noticed at the rescue the day we picked up continues to shine through and we love it!
