Today we were blessed to take a closer peak at our little man developing. Tomorrow I will be 32 weeks! Everything checked out great and healthy. He is a chubby little darling, weighing in at 4.5 pounds already (apparently he is measuring about 33 weeks and 2 days)! The ultrasonographer said we are well onto our way to having a 8.5+ pounder- eek! Looks like those newborn clothes won't be lasting him too long! He also boasts a large head, and very long legs- overall he is in the 74th percentile. His heartbeat was also great- 138 BPM. Unfortunately they were unable to get 3D images because his face was smooshed up against my placenta (and somehow that makes the difference, lol). This exam he was not as shy as he was at 20 weeks (crossing his legs), but he sure loved having his little hands up near his chubby cheeks. My belly has been measuring a few weeks small, but the ultrasonagrapher seems to think we are not having a small baby by any means- he's just already head down and hanging out in my hips. Good man- less stretch marks for Mama! I think the neatest thing about the ultrasound was looking at how much hair he already has on his head! Looks like Mama G was right about him having a full head of hair! We'll see.... :)
We are just itching to meet the little guy! We have been so blessed and we are cherishing these last few weeks as a family of 2 (or 4, if you count Edgar and Teddy ;)). Below are some pictures of the scan- a little hard to understand if you ask me, Josh seemed to know what everything was and I just kept staring at a bunch of white and black blobs, hehe.
