What if sand gets on my pizza?

We have discovered a wonderful pizzeria nearby our house on "Perdido Key". They have amazing garlic bread (and pizza of course). After a long week of work and Josh's first day of API (Aviation Preflight Indoctrination), we decided to get some delicious pizza and eat it across the street on the beach. It was a warm week here- perfect for the beach in the evening.

Nothing relaxes Josh more than a good slice of bacon and mushroom pizza ;)...while he wasn't too keen on walking through the sand to eat his pizza, it was a win/win

Unrelated to the photos above, I thought I'd sneak a photo in of Matt on his last night here in Florida. Josh and Matt's sponsor brother from the Academy just arrived to Pensacola for flight school. We had a great night reuniting with Jim. In the Navy, it is very rarely "Goodbye", but rather, "See you later".
