Today Josh was all smiles as he (and I) purchased our first drill. He was sad after we finished putting our new bookcases together, as there was nothing left to drill in the house (for now). We have had a stack of books piling up for awhile now and it was just a matter of time before we bought or made some bookshelves. We compromised and bought some bookshelves that required assembly- not always the most fun task- but with a drill, anything is fun! (according to Josh)

Our next project for the "office" will be to frame our diplomas now that we have both of ours :)
On another note, the bush in our backyard that we spoke about when we moved in has finally begun blooming! It's so nice to see a splash of color other than green in the back yard. We also can't see our back yard neighbors anymore because the backyard has become so "full" with greenery.
(I hate to admit it but this picture makes our backyard look a lot nicer than it is, haha- but we'll take it)
